About Us
At the start of 2009 God began to speak to us about night and day prayer. God has been saying that if we want to see a move of God in our city (Manchester) then we need to be praying about it, and not just the occasional prayer but it needs to be a continuous prayer, a cry from within us for God’s justice to come in our city. He pointed to us to the parable in Luke of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8) where Jesus tells us to be persistent in coming to God for justice and to believe that God will answer. He tells us “And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night?”. We believe that if we can mobilise this city to begin to cry out to God day and night that we will see the Kingdom of God come down and invade this city. We also believe that God wants to equip His church to begin to bring the Kingdom into their own lives and to impact people through the way they are living; connected to Jesus, doing what they see the Father doing.
In February 2010 we are going to come off staff at Vinelife Church Manchester and move to Kansas City for 3 months to attend IHOP-KC Commission with the intention of returning to Manchester to establish a house of prayer within our city. This will mean stepping out of the security of a regular income and living by faith. The reality is that our God deserves to be worshiped and we want to honour the call on our lives by worshiping Him and facilitating 24h, nonstop worship of God, for who He is and what He’s done. We fully appreciate that this will be a journey and we are excited about taking the many steps towards seeing this vision fulfilled.
We are really excited about the adventure God is taking us on and we would really love to take the journey with you.
